What is the TIM-BR Mart Project Card?

The TIM-BR Mart Project Card is a charge card that can be used at Kimberley Building Supplies, or at any other participating TIM-BR Mart Building Centre.

Why do I need the TIM-BR Mart Project Card?

If you are completing home improvements or building a new house and you make regular purchases at Kimberley Building Supplies, or at another TIM-BR Mart Building Centre, the Project Card will help you finance the building project.

What are the benefits of the TIM-BR Mart Project Card?

What is a revolving credit account?

A revolving credit account is a charge account which allows you to make purchases from the participating merchant offering the charge account and charge them to your revolving credit account.  New purchases can be made up to your approved line of credit.  To repay your revolving credit account, just make the minimum monthly payment indicated on your statement.  Or if you prefer, you may pay off as much of your outstanding balance as you want.  There is no pre-payment penalty, so it's up to you.

If you wish to increase the limit of your revolving credit account, just call the toll-free number on your billing statement to apply.  Your revolving credit account can also be insured with the CreditCare Insurance Package - optional disability, involuntary unemployment, and life insurance are available.

What does the CreditCare Insurance Package include?

The CreditCare Insurance provides you, the designated card holder, with the following:

• Disability Insurance pays your minimum monthly payment for up to 24 months if you become totally disabled (under a doctor's care and unable to work at your regular occupation) for more than 14 days.  If you are over the age of 65, you are covered only if the disability results from accidental injury.

• Involuntary Employment Insurance pays your minimum monthly payment for up to 4 months per calendar year if you become involuntary unemployed (loss of job, strike, or layoff) for more than 14 days.

• Accidental Death and Dismemberment pays your account balance if you are over the age of 65 and you are dismembered or die due to accidental cause.

Your monthly premium for the CreditCare Insurance Package is $0.69 per $100 of your account balance.  This charge and any applicable sales tax is included on your billing statement each month.  When there is no balance on your account, no premium will be charged.

How do I apply for the TIM-BR Mart Project Card?

To apply for the TIM-BR Mart Project Card, print and fill out the application form (please print and use a pen).  When you have completed the form, either fax or mail it to Kimberley Building Supplies (contact information is provided at the bottom of the application form), or to the nearest participating TIM-BR Mart Building Centre.  You will be contacted with regards to the status of your application as soon as possible.
